About Kenny
Recognized by DownBeat Magazine as “a distinctive player and composer,” Kenny Reichert is a guitarist whose music balances lyricism, harmonic depth, and a commitment to collective improvisation. His work has been praised by All About Jazz as “adventurous and deeply musical,” while Textura has noted the immediacy and lasting resonance of his compositions. Reichert’s writing and playing favor clarity and space, keeping the music open, direct, and honest.

Reichert is also a member of Righteous Rooster, a Chicago-based organ trio with Henry Dickhoff and Luke Sagadin. In 2025, the trio released four singles—The Doorman, Viaduct, Cluckin', and Bullet Train—and received an Illinois Arts Council Creative Project Grant in support of its ongoing creative work.
